ARTIST RULES AND REGULATIONS
We are strictly enforcing the rules and will enforce a NO tolerance policy for noncompliance.
If you fail to abide by any of these rules, and are given a warning or are asked to leave the convention for any reason, you will not receive any reimbursement for your booth rental or any licensing costs or additional expenses.
All Body Modification Artists must be registered with the City and County of Denver Excise and Licensing prior to the start of the convention to participate.
All Body Modification Artists must have Licenses, Badges and BBP certificates, and all such certificates must be present and available for review at your booth space at all times during the convention.
Only Artists Registered to the Booth will be allowed to perform any Body Art Modification during the convention.
Any Artists found NOT to be Properly Licensed with the City and County who are rotating, swapping in, or tattooing at the convention will be removed from the convention and the Booth's Registered Artist will be fined $300.00 per-booth, per infraction.
Wristbands or Event Passes must be worn during Convention Hours. NO Sharing of wristbands or passes will be permitted. Violation will result in expulsion from the convention.
One labeled Bio-hazard waste bin will be provided to each Body Modification Artist booth for every two artists.
DISPOSE OF ANY AND ALL BIOHAZARD WASTE *ONLY* IN THE LABELED BIN.
DISPOSAL OF USED NEEDLES OR SHARP OBJECTS IN THE BIOHAZARD WASTE CONTAINER WILL BE CONSIDERED A VIOLATION OF THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT CODE.
ANY ARTIST CAUGHT COMMITTING THESE ACTS WILL BE FINED AND/OR EXPELLED FROM THE CONVENTION.
One Sharps Container will be provided for every Registered Body Modification Artist.
SHARPS CONTAINERS MUST BE STORED AWAY FROM FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC DURING ALL CONVENTION HOURS, INCLUDING OVERNIGHT AND AFTER-HOURS STORAGE.
A Handwashing Station will be Provided for every two Body Modification Booths.
They will be located away from and are not accessible to the General Public, between and behind your designated Booth Spaces.
DO NOT USE THE PORTABLE WATER TANK AS A CLEANING SINK.
DO NOT POUR ANY FOREIGN SUBSTANCE INTO THE HAND WASHING STATION.
ANY ARTIST SEEN IMPROPERLY USING OR DISPOSING OF IMPROPER MATERIALS WILL BE FINED AND/OR EXPELLED FROM THE CONVENTION.
One Trash Receptacle will be provided for each 10 x 10 Space.
YOU ARE TO CLEAN UP YOUR OWN TRASH AT ALL TIMES DURING THE CONVENTION, AND SPECIFICALLY BEFORE YOU LEAVE AT NIGHT. CONVENTION STAFF IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR TRASH AND RECYCLE REMOVAL.
There will be trash and recycling receptacles spread throughout the convention floor, in addition to roll-off and front-load dumpsters to the north of the convention space. Large cardboard and all boxes must be broken down and taken outside to the marked bins.
FAILURE TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF WILL RESULT IN A FINE OF $100 PER BOOTH SPACE.
All Lights and Electrical Cords must be available for Inspection at the Beginning of Day One, even if your Booth is not completely set up for the General Public. ONLY THREE-PRONG (GROUNDED) cords are allowed on site. Failure to provide proper electrical supply may result in an Inspection Failure until a remedy is supplied.
No alcohol can be brought into any body modification booths. No alcohol is to be consumed by any body modification artist, nor any client, during any body art procedure.
Marijuana consumption is strictly prohibited on the convention premises at all times. This includes vapes and pens that contain THC products.
Smoking and/or Vaping of any sort will ONLY be allowed in DESIGNATED AREAS on the convention premises. Use will be closely monitored and strictly enforced by the Denver County Department of Environmental Health.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY RESTRICTIONS REGARDING ALCOHOL, MARIJUANA PRODUCTS, TOBACCO PRODUCTS, OR OTHER RELATED PARAPHERNALIA MAY RESULT IN A FINE AND/OR EXPULSION FROM THE CONVENTION, AND COULD RESULT IN ACTION FROM THE DENVER POLICE DEPARTMENT.
All Vendors must submit a Denver City Sales Tax Form with either payment or a record of no sales within Ten Days of the end of the convention.
While 24-Hour security will be on-site during the event, we strongly encourage you NOT to leave any items of value overnight.
We are not responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen items.
